Taxes Etc. was started in 1988 by Verlean Hollins Singletary. Verlean has over twenty years experience in tax preparation and general accounting. She has completed her Bachelors of Science in Accounting, receives continuing education from the Internal Revenue Service annually to stay up to date on all new tax laws, and is currently working toward her MBA and CPA certification. She has also worked in a variety of environments as an accounting professional. She brings all of that experience to the table when she prepares taxes for her clients. She also has a true affinity for the "art" of taxation and accounting. Verlean's niche is her personable attitude and willing helpfulness when it comes to dealing with her customers.
